G3's biologists and technicians are WCB certified as Unrestricted Occupational SCUBA divers, providing professional scientific diving services in a variety of disciplines. G3 completes underwater habitat assessments for industry, resource managers and as part of projects requiring extensive ecological assessment. G3 has completed numerous biophysical assessments of log dump heli-drop zones, foreshore developments, compensation sites and other industrial operations throughout coastal BC for a variety of clients and freshwater habitats. G3 uses digital video and still photography to collect supporting images to contribute to underwater data and sample collection.
G3 has expertise and applied technology in bathymetric surveys and GIS mapping. G3 uses digital depth sounders, interfaced directly to differentially corrected DGPS receivers to obtain spatial information at the desired scale to enable real-time spatial positioning. G3 can tailor solutions specific to client needs.
G3 also has the experience and capability to employ Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) technology for specialized projects. ROV technology used includes sonar, auxiliary video cameras, CP Probes, brush cleaning motors and manipulator technology to depths of 1,000 ft.
